Our Mini-Boomers basketball program was developed by Sports and Exercise Scientists from the University of Technology Sydney, to ensure we are providing the best possible program for children.
Team sports teach life skills that will prepare your child for school.
Starting Kindergarten can be nervous for some children. It is a completely new environment that they have to adapt to. Enrolling your child in our Mini Boomers program, will build up their confidence and social skills through playing and learning in a team environment. Designed for children of all skill levels, our coaches are mentors for your child and will help guide and encourage them to have a positive experience with team sports and basketball, in our Mini Boomers program.
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT MY CHILD?
Perfect introductory program for children ages 4-5, that helps develop essential basketball skills.
Great steppingstone to prepare your child for kindergarten through an improvement in confidence and self-esteem from being included in a team.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to help get in those 60 minutes of physical activity recommended by exercise scientists.
Inclusion into a team sport early in a child's life will allow them to better develop team awareness and dynamics.
The basketball games we have designed are adaptable to all children making them easy to learn, fun but also challenging at the same time
It's vital at that age (4-5) that children have a positive experience with team sports so they can become better team players in the years to come. Our Basketball classes for 5-year-olds are a perfect way for them to develop that positive relationship with sports!

We hold a casual game at the end of the sessions so children can become familiar with team dynamics at an early age. Here at Little Boomers Basketball, your kid can play, begin their basketball journey, and fall in love with the sport after shooting that first basket.
Team sports are beneficial for a child’s overall development. They help children make new friends, develop their character, and learn about good sportsmanship, which all lead to enhanced self-esteem.
This is why enrolling a child in a junior game development program is beneficial. It not only provides an environment that is fun and safe for any kid to learn and grow, but it is also a program that provides specialised skills development – an environment where children of all abilities can home in on their basketball training and upgrade their skill level and abilities.
Whatever your child will achieve on the court, however, can surely be translated to the game of life.
