Rollover Membership System Policy (RMS)
Last updated: 3 June 2026
These terms apply to memberships at participating Little Boomers Basketball locations. They form an agreement between you (the parent or guardian enrolling a child) and Little Boomers Basketball Franchising Pty Ltd (ABN 73 645 807 003). These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. If there is a major problem with a service, you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund. The terms below apply in addition to your Australian Consumer Law rights, not instead of them.
1. Rollover Membership System (RMS)
We operate a rollover membership system using Stripe at participating locations. By enrolling, you authorise us to automatically debit your nominated card on each scheduled billing date for the upcoming term, until you cancel.
We will send you one SMS and one email at least 7 days before each billing date. Before the billing date you may:
- Do nothing, and your membership will roll over to the next term
- Transfer to another class (subject to availability)
- Cancel your membership
- Apply a valid voucher (vouchers must be applied before payment to receive the discount)
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time by contacting your franchisee, whose name and email are shown in your membership dashboard. A cancellation button is also available in your dashboard at certain times during the membership cycle. Cancelling is free and takes effect from the end of your current paid term.
Refunds
Once a term payment has been processed, we do not provide refunds for change of mind, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including for a major service failure, always apply.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will send an SMS and email asking you to update your details. Stripe will attempt to reprocess the payment within 24 hours. If payment is not completed within 48 hours of the billing date, we may release your child’s class spot to another family and pause your membership. You are welcome to re-enrol, subject to availability. To update payment details, log in to your parent dashboard or contact your Head Coach.
2. Gold VIP Membership
Gold VIP is an annual membership covering four consecutive terms at your selected location, paid upfront in full at sign-up. Gold VIP includes:
- 16% saving across the four terms compared with standard term pricing
- Your child’s spot secured for the full year
- Unlimited make-up classes (when space allows)
- Flexible class transfers (when space allows)
- One official Little Boomers Basketball per annual membership
The 16% saving is calculated against the standard term price at your selected location. Because term prices are set by each franchisee and vary by location, the actual dollar value of the saving will differ from one location to another.
Annual commitment and refunds
Gold VIP is a committed annual membership in exchange for the 16% saving. It is non-refundable for change of mind, early withdrawal, or a decision not to continue during the year. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Medical and injury credits
If your child cannot continue due to a serious medical condition or long-term injury, you may apply for a pro-rata credit for the unused terms. To apply:
- Submit your request in writing
- Provide a valid medical certificate
If approved, the credit:
- Is for future classes at the same location, for the enrolled child
- Must be used within 12 months of the date it is issued
- Is not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred between locations or to another person
We will assess requests reasonably and will not unreasonably refuse a valid request. This is in addition to any refund you may be entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.
Location
Gold VIP is valid only at the location where it was purchased and cannot be transferred to another franchise location.
Class transfers and make-ups
Make-up classes and transfers are subject to availability and capacity limits at each location, and cannot be guaranteed during peak or fully booked sessions.
Automatic renewal
At the end of the annual period, your Gold VIP membership will automatically renew for another year at the then-current Gold VIP price. We will send you an email reminder at least 5 days before the renewal billing date. You can cancel before that date, free of charge, by contacting your franchisee using the details shown in your membership dashboard, or through the dashboard cancellation button when it is available, and you will not be charged for the new year. If you do nothing, the renewal will proceed.
3. Privacy and photos
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, available on our Website. This includes how we collect, use and store your information, and how we use photographs and video taken during our programs to promote Little Boomers Basketball. You can withdraw your consent to the use of your child’s image at any time by contacting us.
4. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our Website. We will notify current members by email of any material change that affects them.
